Adam Symkowicz's plays have been produced throughout the U.S. and Canada, England, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Australia, Germany, Slovenia, and Lithuania. His works have been produced or developed at such places as MCC Theatre, Ars Nova, South Coast rep, Playwrights Horizons, LABrynth Theatre Company, The Lark, Rattlesnake Playwrights Theatre, Primary Stages and The New Plays include Deflowering Waldo, Pretty Theft, Food For Fish, Hearts Like Fists, Clown Bar, Fat Cat Killers, Adventures of Super Margaret, Elsewhere, Rare Birds, Violent Bones, Such Small Hands, Nerve, and many others. Adam Received a Playwrights Diploma from the Juilliard School's Acheson Wallace American Playwrights Program and an MFA from Columbia College where he was the Dean's Fellow. Symkowicz is a two time Lecompte de Nouy winner, a member of both the Dramatist's Guild and of the Writer's Guild of America. He also interviewed over 800 playwrights on his blog.
